Board of Directors

The Hospital Board of Directors consists of fourteen members.  The current Board of Directors nominates eight board members.  The Medical Staff selects two of the board members and the Chief of the Medical Staff is also a board member. The Wadsworth Rittman Area Joint Township Hospital District Board nominates two board members and Summa Health System nominates one board member.

According to the Bylaws of the Board of Directors, a board member may serve up to five consecutive three-year terms.  After fifteen years on the Board, the member must step down for a period of at least one year, after which he or she is eligible to be elected or appointed to the Board once again.
