Intensive Care Unit

The Summa Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides ongoing care, with state-of-the-art equipment, for critically ill patients. The staff, all registered nurses, is highly trained, meeting the area-wide standards for excellence in critical care.  With a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, they provide continuous, close observation of all patients in the unit. The telemetry system, located in the Intensive Care Unit, allows for cardiac monitoring of up to twelve additional patients in the hospital.
