Sleep Disorders Laboratory

It’s estimated that 1 in 4 people suffers from a sleep disorder and some sleep disorders are life threatening.  People who have sleep disorders may experience fatigue, irritability, depression, reduced attention, reduced concentration, reduced memory, more frequent illnesses, lost productivity, and are at increased risk for workplace or car accidents from falling asleep at the job or at the wheel.

The Summa Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital Sleep Disorder Laboratory is designed to detect sleep disorders through the evaluation of a patient’s sleep patterns during a painless, noninvasive overnight stay.  If a sleep disorder is detected and diagnosed, a variety of treatment options are available.

For more information about the Summa Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital Sleep Disorder Laboratory, talk to your doctor or call 330-331-1636 or 1-800-828-1789, extension 1636.
